“ Went there for weekend supper with a reservation, though when we got there, there were open tables. The family-owned restaurant came highly recommended by the locals, so we had to try it. The stuffed mushrooms were great appetizer for sharing, and the crab dip was amazing. I ordered pork ribs with spaghetti for my entree. The ribs were saucy and tender, while the spaghetti came with meat sauce that was full of flavours. While I am not exactly a pasta expert, I could imagine eating that meat sauce everyday. The chicken parm and chicken breast also received rave reviews from my table. I came out of the restaurant full and satisfied. This restaurant is now my choice place to visit whenever I am in the area craving for Italian cuisine. ”

The service is always good, the prices are reasonable, it is a pleasant place to dine, and there is lots of parking. Make a reservation on the weekends or if there is a concert at the casino in Ramara. ”

“ Absolutely one of our very favourite restaurants anywhere! We've been semi-regulars at Theo's for around fifteen years now, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. The food is prepared in-house - which definitely makes a huge difference - and everything we've had here has been unbelievably good. The chicken souvlaki, the veal cutlet, the steak sandwich, any of the baked pasta dishes, the Greek salad, the coconut curry shrimp...the list of fantastic dishes goes on. It's obvious from the appearance & taste of the meals that the people in the kitchen really care and they clearly enjoy what they're doing - a real plus! Service is always prompt & friendly...and the food always arrives HOT, not just warm. Note that reservations, especially for dinner, are strongly advised - it's worth a quick phone call to ensure that you get a table. Now that so many places have gone the corporate route, with predictable chain restaurants littering the landscape with their mediocre factory food, trucked in and assembled/re-heated (but not actually prepared on site), a place like Theo's becomes even more likeable. This restaurant is a Genuine Treasure, and always worth the drive to Orillia...from wherever you are. My highest possible recommendation. ”

“ Exceptional service from the entire staff. We were in a pinch for time, we were a walk-in and the restaurant was full. They assured us we would be seated soon. Gave us menus before we were seated so we could order quickly once seated. The food was amazing. Large portions. Our server was very friendly. The entire staff was genuinely happy to be there. The last time we were at Theo’s was at least 15 years ago.(we aren’t from the area) I’m happy to say it was the same then. ”
